Hi There,

I want to download a few files from my server to IPhone, basically a definition file and a few image files where I'll use to show the upcoming games. Can I use NETWEBGET for that as it seems they are used to download text? Also, is there 2 different commands as NETWEBGET$ and NETWEBGET or am I wrong?

Damn, how did I miss that, thank you very much once more, much appreciated... =D
Hate to bring this up but this is also something that our customers are asking us a lot... :)
Great to hear that there is a progress on that, much appreciated...

I also agree that with a free release, if it gets good download, an in-app-purchase option might gain great profit if the upgrades are worth. We have such a game in appstore and people keep asking us for more content which that option would be usefull.

About the marketing, we used OpenFeint's "FreeGameOfTheDay" website to have it for free for one day, which resulted to be free for near a week now. We're still unsure whether should switch to paid model or use this (mostly happy) user base to promote our other games...
Thank you all for your nice words...

Yes, it has gone up to number 3 and excluding todays reports as didn't get it yet  :) , it has more than 300.000 players now  =D

Name: Birdie In Trouble
Genere: Puzzle/Board
Cost: 0.99$
ITunes :

Our little new born birdie, fell off his nest and tries to find his way home. As he still didn't learn how to fly, he needs to go through a long journey jumping onto the leafs. Might sound easy, but not each leaf is the same and causes our birdie to jump to another leaf, fall down, some needs to be jumped with an order.

"Birdie In Trouble" is an addictive puzzle game for everybody and has the following features :

- An adorable hero, going through 75 levels of journey.
- Each level consists of mind compelling puzzles to solve.
- Cute cartoonish graphics as well as fluid animations.
- 4 ingame music and a matching sound fx.
- Openfeint integration with global leaderboard and achievemts support.

Thanks for the answers...

It looks like it's not hard to make an IPad compatible GLBasic and as said, hope it's something in priority...;)
GLBasic - en / IPad Support!
Hello There,

It seems that this weekend will be something crazy with the launch of IPad and it got a big attention with loads of applications/games ready at launch. My question in here is that what is the road map about making GLBasic compile for IPad? I assume that, since the OS and device is more or less a stretched (!) IPhone / IPod Touch it should be easy but that's only an impression from what we saw so far for now :)! I just want to understand whether this is priority which will be checked in the following days after the official release of the device?

Hello There,

I want to share my joy that our little test game created with GLBasic, "FastBall", is now at #15 at US AppStore free games section and similar positions in other countries. Thanks once more to the authors of GLBasic for creating such a productive framework and language.

You're welcome, let me know if you need any help on it...

Glad you liked the new game "Birdie In Trouble", seen it's video?

Yes, I've the latest version (checked just now) and compiled the game with that version.

Forget the template and build from scratch (refer to Opefeint Readme.txt file on how to do it), it takes a couple of minutes only and I could compile and submit our new game "Birdie In Trouble" without any problem with v2.4.5.

Does anybody have a solution for this? I just left this to release my game, what a pity!  :S
Hello Francisco,

Yes, I saw the same thing, in our game "FastBall". It seems IPhone has 16 bit depth and the images you create in 32 bit appears to have less colors on IPhone thus a more noticable color changes, especially with gradient effects.
