I remember Dinamic Software being a great creator of ZX Spectrum software, good graphics at the time too, I remember having liked Rocco very much :-)

Who also remembers Llamasoft with the stuck in the 70's hippy programmer Jeff Minter(pretty sure that was his name).

His psychedelic colours & gfx in games where awesome :)

Jeff Minter is a legend - Attack Of The Mutant Camels, GridRunner, Iridis Alpha, Tempest 2000 amongst many others. He specializes in abstract shooters and light synth style games nowadays. And every game he does has llamas, sheep or camels in!

[EDIT] Added Mutant Camels

[EDIT]

I came. I saw. I played.

Today the c64 today amazing me... Really how runs the games quick, the custom chips was really a very good invent... The palette of colors, I don't like too much I prefer the Mode 0 of Amstrad, but some games are more slow than turtles...

@spicypixel, Yes Dinamic was very popular, but the books and Documentaries speak about Made in Spain(Zigurat) they are the same company was the Best of alls... Dinamic have a lot of publish.

The cool thing it's they are 3 brothers and begun into his home (basically how all people in 80's), but today Dinamic continues it's FX Interactive... but in Spain no body inverts money AAA videogames, or something technologic..  ;/.

The only AAA videogame company we have in Spain right now is MercurySteam, and that's because they're lately associated with Konami pushing the Castlevania franchise further with their Lords of Shadow revamp. Before that they had done Clive Barker's Jericho and American McGee's Scrapland but they weren't too much known.

Yes Erico in Spain the 4 "big" Companies, basically they are a few boys... Dinamic, Made in Spain, Topo Soft, Opera Soft... but they was publishers too, in fact the list of games of this companies whit 20 games in example, did for the real group perhaps were 3 games... After another more little companies appears like Ibersoft.

Freddy hardest it's very cool game, but Freddy hardest in south manhantan it's really Bad!!! try Goody or Navy moves, you will enjoy a good time...

erico

Navy moves is great, remember that from msx and amiga.
Freddy hardest in south manhantan was quite like a vigilante arcade version, but very weird, I never got into that one either.

Yes Wampus, I wacth this movie at least a one time at year, its' really really nice... Here in Spain the Accorn computers dpn't arrives, but Spectrum waas the king , in the first years of computing.

Really it's intersting the way how accorn get in the market, whit a quest of a BBC, and after they goes very well they now are ARM, isn't?¿, at the finish of th film you can see a board on they have 2 projects in mind, the SuperAccorn or ARM...

For me this film it's too much better than Pirates of Silicon Valley, the problem it's nobody have interst to translate the film, you have sobtitles, but not it's the same..

Regards, Wampus.
