Title: More Speed Compiling Code
Post by: mentalthink on 2020-Jun-13
Hi guys the CPCTelera (Amstrad CPC programming) perhaps in next version uses this http://gittup.org/tup/ , seems for compiling really a lot faster, I read only a bit but seems works in Windows Linux and Mac. If Gernnot read this perhaps he insterested to implement in GLbasic, I think only is install de "program" and change the MakeFile for adapt to TUP.

You can see a little video here.

Not sure if I get everything right on this build system, does it scan for file changes and re-build only those files that were actually changed? So how this differs from IncrediBuild method that's currently used by GLB? Or maybe it's doing something more behind. Those benchmarks that are included show only comparison with pure 'make file' so no direct compare to GLB.
