Brought an Android phone from eBay on the 5th May.  Today I received a (valid) email from eBay stating that they've removed the listing and I should claim my money back (which I've started).  However, they do say that it could be up to 10 days before they can do anything...

Buying phones on eBay is serious risky business,
far too many scammers out there these days.

With PayPal its no real problem - just annoying having to wait...

It's interesting that eBay cancelled the listing, rather than you having to wait weeks for a no-show phone. Obviously the seller had had several complaints about him prior to/at the same time as your sale.

It is still crap though.

Yes, sounds like there were problems with the seller although "under EU law we cant tell you what they are"...

This is why I plan on buying a Tablet at Amazon, Best Buy or where ever.
Too many liabilities on Ebay. I guess I could also upgrade my phone as well......
