Genius Greedy Mouse Released!

While I do revist all levels for adding the "Easy Mode". Few levels did changed a little bit and/or has been a little quite harder for the "Normal Mode".

Here is one of them I really liked and enjoyed complete this Sokoban inspirated level, here shown in Normal Mode, while Easy Mode removed half of those ghosts:

PS. I added a lots of break walls to prevent wall running, which is possible in this game (which I also have took advance of that in some other levels).

Finally the mouse in clay:


A nice sweet pink mouse. We might and a purple one as well? But its was allways planned its should been pink, and its works pretty cool.

Love the mouse!    Mind you as a long time claymation fan I'm a sucker for anything modeled in clay.

This game got closer to the release and more more tiles has been clayed :-D. This game taking more time than excepted, but its progress very nice and we have a Apple deadtime which cant been delayed.

Here is the status from today:

• All levels is now done and actuelly finally in both easy as well in normal mode (a mode that can been changed any time in village, but you can only get up to 3 stars in easy mode).
• Most effects has been clayed, only missing the death animation.
• Nearly all tiles has been clayed, so really only decorations and numbers is missing and few might require few tweeks. Decorations (gray and dark brown numbers) could been disabled in v1.0 and do more work on them in v1.1.
• Tips still missing, but they are only drawings in Neverhoold style. Should been very fast to do. There might been some humor drawings here and there, but not sure its been done in v1.0.
• Some Sound effects missing and other small things.
• Greedy Mouse FreeEasy wont been released as start and I might need to change it, due the included easy/normal mode). Freeeasy was/is version is most suitable for Android users.
• Interface graphics still missing, but I think this is the next to do (he would look on that after I cleaned up the menu folder).

At least the game is now completable from start to finish (even there is no endscreeen)!

So beautifull...feels like biting it.
What is that blue part on the last image? if that is suppose to be water? I would say you add a white waves animated sprite to the top of it as it dosen´t quite match the rest.

Water.

We have talked what we should add top on the water, but still not sure about yet and hence its have been lower priotity. I do went back about it later. Howover its does works very nicely when you see its moving, but the texture used could been much better, but its does works.

Many early console game actuelly diddent have any waves and such, but its does missing something..... Howover still its not a high priotity.

As a good reference, something on the forth gif, the animated water one, kill the green on alpha,  keep the white, could be a good ref?
There are many retro great references, although I´m a fan of the cooper "the killing game show" water having only tinted reflections.

There are million possibilities , hope those can help out inspirations!

water is subject to been changed from the static one (used just a plain 64x64px texture) to a much bigger animated one in 4 frames. Since its a 4 frames its would been possible to do some nice animated water, include eventuelly waves (of course in clay).

PS. For some reason, youtube have tried to antishake (of some short) this video on contain resoulutions, which is pretty annoying. If score on top right and viewport moving all around, try a another resolution and reload the video again. I'm not sure why its happens, but its very annoyring.

Another little wip video

This looks fun!  In fact, now I've seen it in action I'm a lot more positive about this game than I was before. I like the munching sound when he eats the cheese.

.the joypad can been freely resizeable in any size, so its look optimized for that machine. In the standard size, the joypad was a tad too big for me.....

Ps. Greedy Mouse is allready taken on Google Play, but I add a another nice word to the title to avoid confuction from that game (which is nothing about this game at all).

The font is being clayed by now, and that and tips is the final important thing before we can release the game. Tips can even been disabled. So Soon font being made, there I might do a Android Beta (while iOS users must wait for the final game, due Apple not accept beta versions). Let see what happens, but the wait is soon over (and I have not been contacted for internal betas, which I still accept).

That really looks great, SF. 
...but I think the font is a bit small, though.
