second time that happens with database lost. Host: Where is the backups?

but this is second time its actuelly happens, so there is something wrong with the server. So what when its happens next time? Im remember its happens in around one or two years ago as well. So im wait to repost the AE updates etc before hearing what its was happens.

Servers nowadays maintain administrative logs of any and all activities, backed-up on the host side. Perhaps an inquiry might solve this mystery.

Fair play tho.. was looking up how to backup a 'simplemachines' forum.. its not easy - and most of the time doesnt work. My webby gets hacked to bits every so often - thankfully it now backs up to the cloud every few days.

The server is said to have two raid 10 disks crashed at the same time. They restored from my last backup. January that is. Oh no. I have to kick backups manually. It's terrible. What now? Move to a bigger, yet more expensive provider? Do I really need a root server?

But why the panic? You asked him less then 2 hours ago - normally it can take him days till he answers, and atm there holidays, so no point in repeating your question every 10 mins.
