images from imageshack do not display here...when I run it on google translator it appears....strange. I'm connecting from brazil...

what if you work on a quite low resolution and upscale to i-pad res? would it be any faster?
it would be great to be able to upscale things without distortion/blut(aye pure pixels), I like pixel art and 320x240 seems to be a perfect resolution. by the way, if the game is running on the background on such a res, it would take less memory and resources correct? any ideas?

code is really well done, quite short, I was trying to come up with such a code too, but sin cos fries my mind... thanks  :)

I guess a little time ago someone did a really good code snipet about sprite dealing with polyvectors, it was full of functions and quite complete, may work for this too!

last few lightwaves you were able to draw bones on the object files, never timeline animate them, but draw you can.
as well as setting pivot points to layered structured objects and hierarque them as required.

all right, will do it later today when I get home, will also do balls too as surface parameters are better seen on those.

about the endomorph, if you can mix them they are quite nice, like you have pose A B C, then you use 25% of pose plus -30% of pose B and then add 10 % of pose C. quite powerfull.
It would also be really nice if lightwave scenes get to be imported, camera and light info, object hierarquy, bones and so on, just the basics..

Marmor, even if only obj import is done it will be heaven for me :nw:

textured, you mean projection ones(front,cilindrical,spherical,cube) or UV mapped?
what about surface parameters, specular, difuse, reflections, etc...?
what about surface parameters with textures? projected or uv?

name what you need and I get something out for testing.

animated can be in several ways, bones animation requires scene, obj can have the bone structure but not the time-line animation itself.

endomorphes can be used to anim too, they are sets of transformed obj ( same poligons) that can be used to fade from one position to another or mixed. quite interesting stuff

what do you think?

what else do you need? uv textured? plannar mapping? bones? lights? scenes? cameras?

I´m currently off to Santos spend carnaval days here, so only with my laptop.
I will give a better finilized try on a page as soon as I get back home and turn on my ´just arrived´ new machine! :)
Will try something with the current layout then instead of the sketched one up there.

I don´t know much about these things but looking inside the zip file you have a HTML drawer and in there run index.html.
navigate to <file formats>  and then <object>
I think there you have needed info.

I tried to condense the left frame info into the top buttons, I thought it would be better to have the top part of the page to display all necessary info links, and from there, you scrool down to more specific info into the one you chose.

News page should be the home.
Of course everyhing should be more grafical when possible, less big letters.
I got this layout out of my own experience into and searching languages, it may not be a fit for everyone.

One thing is that this is a general revamp, maybe it´s not needed at all but just a new skinning+slight layout changes.
What do you think? Should I try something on the current layout?

Did anyone notice the games on the showcase in the sketch? can you name them?
like i said, my drawings get surreal sometimes...

I guess this is a better thread to post it...

I have been twinkling with a possible new design too and a new logo, here is a sketch so far.
It's slightly based on the flash punk site and a few others I enjoy.

I can't stand programming sites with too much images and all dirty up (aye darkbasik),
I arrived here because of the clean design and straight glbasic information + manual + download...
...gave it a try on the boardgame competition and it all worked for me.

So I was looking into it, a clean design+showcase+info.
it's still just a layout...

I can sketch but that does not mean I'm good into it hehe. I usually fast draw what I need in a way only I can understand it later, quite surreal, sometimes after a month even I can't understand it. you get some idea from storyboard on my home page, look into bruxas atacam pescador animated movie and you have a guess...and those are the quite good ones!
