Can we still compile for iOS

Hello everyone.

Quick question if I may.

Hope you are all doing fine. It has been such a long time. I have had a big break from coding all together.

I checked that my iOS apps are no longer working because of iOS 11 bla bla bla!

Does GLBasic still compile for iOS or are all my games long gone!

Its Should and ios11 still works. Howover there sdk I'm compiled to was for ios10 and I'm will no longer compile to newer IOS as well android.

Anyone tried GLBasic with ios11.

I played with it the other day, but I did not manage to get it to work. The project name was karmamiwa, if I recall that is spacefractal's game name right?

Just let me know if you have got it working for iOS.

oh dear, im throught im renamed it after that to make sure. but howover its should not matter at all. Yes Karma Miwa was one of my games.

Currectly im have no access to fix it, since Apple dedicated my Mac was too old. Im do have a Virtual desktop to Sierra, but im do currectly not do updates.

But if its ok with Gernot, im can send the full xcode source code im did for iOS10 for creating the libs for iOS11 (im doubt its require changes this time). Im do need a permission first. Its mightbeen a little bit older glbasic, but better than.

Im will in this summer intergrate a code single based project so I'm can avoid using libs, but require the full source code (either the single c++ Version or separated original,  I'm do prefer the original really, due but finding can been easier).

Gernot, contact me. Sorry I'm was away, but I'm was on a ski vacation and I'm soon come back here again (due my new game).

The reason with full Glbsic full code is simple it's been easier to upgrade in the future. Since I'm already have a ios10, then ios11 Should been pretty easy. But Currently I'm do not have access to a mac,  nor vmware.

Also we have also a Android studio integration project, which is required after Aug 2018. Should been in same manner as with xcode.

Today im have removed all trace im have with the annoying vmware.... Im simply just hate it with macos, that newer works as im want it. etc im did newer found out how to do somethign so simple to change the small resolution to something bigger. So...... iOS developmenet for me is totally gone for now.

Since im also have sold my mac, im might not even have the glbasic project anymore (exept that over year backup im have, before im stopped).

Sorry for that.

Im do hate both Google and Apple for doing thing like that with all those crappy forced updates, and upgrades and use too much useless time for that.

So im not even sure my game would do mobile platforms at all.

Its was fun for some years ago, but iOS and Android is no more fun at all. its is begin to been to compliced now.

So im are still totally off with dev with Android and iOS, a least with glbasic.

 Apple require or course more inforcing and ios11 now required and with iPhone X in mind. Bugger.
The main problem is just... I'm have no mac anymore and won't use vmware. But I'm remember I'm did compile a version ios11 before I'm stopped last year. Then the new phone would been supported.

I'm will in next version release what I'm have in the bonus forum,  due urs include glbasic source code and Currectly can do nothing.

There is no point in supporting Mac or iOS now - they've deprecated OpenGL/OpenGLES completely and all targets must now use the Metal (2) framework for MacOS 10.14 and up.

Im still want to release the iOS10 xcode project im did to compile the Whole glbasic source code to the required seperate libs. But im will NOT release it WITHOUT permission by Gernot (im have newer heard from him since, sorry). Im have no right to public release it by my self and will respect Gernot.

Its worked fine with iOS11 as im remember, and should Works with iOS12, dispite OpenGL is depreacted. Apple has wrote OpenGL will still Work fine with iOS12 throught and property few more versions.
