I would like to ask whether it's possible to add In-App purchase of IPhone applications into GLBasic? This question only queries the possibility so I'm not looking a ready made thing for now, but just want to know whether it would be possible in the future which I might hire somebody to do.

In app purchase is most probably the best way to make money as you can give the game away for free (which usually leads to a lot more downloads than a paid app).
But I doubt if there will be more sales than with a LITE version.
its a big deal to add in app purchasing, i created a sample program but need to test, must read about developer server and test purchases.

I also agree that with a free release, if it gets good download, an in-app-purchase option might gain great profit if the upgrades are worth. We have such a game in appstore and people keep asking us for more content which that option would be usefull.

Unfortunately to make money from the apple store you need to have all marketing avenues available. In App purchase is just another marketing tool, but it definitely has its place in an overall marketing strategy. :) With all the 3rd party add ons (mostly Trucidare and Gernot) being added to GLBASIC, it is fast becoming a very serious development tool for the iPhone. 8)
