Had an IDE crash just now - came up with something to do with "invalid parameters", with the output window area being totally blank.
The exception code is 0xc0000005 (Access Violation)
I recently got a new system with Win 7, I just installed 9, updated it and the editor crashes upon opening.

I had been using mine for a while - busy testing networking stuff. No idea what psdprotect.dll is...
I haven't tested older versions, maybe I shouldn't of updated before seeing if it ran. I have no idea what that DLL is for either.
Its almost certainly not a GLBasic DLL- it looks like something to do with WinLocker
This might help:

I renamed the DLL like the post talked about, but now I get this.

Might be worth re-installing the VS 9 stuff from the Tools directory or download from the Microsoft website
backup and remove the registry tree at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dream Design\GLBasic
Maybe there's something wrong.
It it's running hten, PM me the reg backup.
