exe with trojan

Microsoft security essentials running on my win 7 system every now and then dictates that the .exe I create when compiling a glb code is infected with trojans like:
Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml
Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml

A friend also informed me this happened on his system after running a game of mine.
Any hints about such?

im have newer heard about it. But its property a false possitive.

Send the file to microsoft here (as a user, you dont need as a dev):
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission

Then they will remove the false positive in the problem app.

Its was also happens a lots with Windows Defender as well with CSpect.exe on Windows, also a false positive. Then im finally sendt it to them as a user, and the false positive was removed few days after.

Will do so, I was just wondering if someone else has experienced it on a win 7 system.

Not had the problem for many years. Many moons ago I had similar problems with GLB, it turned out to be a virus though. I can recommend ESet Nod32 Antivirus Erico, it's a great piece of software and does not slow down your computer in the same way many other antivirus do. It has a months free trial, stick it on and if reports your fine, I would trust that result.   ;)

Yep, Steam version running on a win7 64b system.
Maybe my system is bugged? Very strange only the compiled .exe gets the warning and is quarantined.
Maybe it is a win7 thing where MS does not want to update or care any longer?

It is a bit worrying as I´m selling those games and would not want to bring other people harm.
Never got a complain from either steam or itchio stores directly.

First I thought it was because I use ResourceHacker tool to change GLB exe icons, it strangely gets the file a lot smaller.
But yesterday it happened on an work in progress game that has not being modified.

It does not matter what antivirus the developer runs, the problem comes when the customers gets warnings and the developers reputation is shot. And all antivirus programs slows down your computer, it's just a matter how much.

Get all antivirus programs and test your game on them before releasing :-)

also im fighted with this too with a emulator also a false positive. after im submitted the exe to ms, im havent seen that since. but its also a case they dont update Microsoft security essentials for Windows 7 anymore as that system is totally depreacted.
