I've been watching this for a while, it's a modern Dungeon Master type game
aka movement is one square at a time like eye of the beholder, Black Crypt etc

I remember having a tutorial in ST Format or some such magazine on how to make a basic Dungeon Master (bitmap graphics, not using line and box commands like I saw somewhere else once) game in STOS. Was quite good actually. Always meant to do one (started on the graphics) but of course never completed it. :giveup:
