Description

CRACKSHOT is unique. The game input control simulates the action of a slingshot. The player uses their finger to pull back the elastic and fire flaming pumpkins at various invaders and bosses which are descending onto a sleepy little village.

The graphics are pre-rendered 3d models and were created by my partner and special effects professional Ken Tarallo.

The game physics are modeled realistically to the strength, direction and gravity of the release of the pumpkin, and gives a very smooth and realistic visual. The gameplay is "honestly" addictive and the level difficulty increases "adequately" as you progress through the game making for a compelling, fun experience.The aim was to create a game that was easily accessible and provided fast, fun and addictive game play that was very good value for money. We feel that at $0.99 we achieved our goal.

Three different modes of play:

Nature

You will have to rely on instinct and memory to get your birdz fed. Your only hint is the legend on your screen.

Arcade

Here you have a little help. First, each bird will tell you how much food they still need -- (if you try to overfeed them they will refuse to eat). Secondly, food shows up in a particular sequence each day of your game. Knowing this, you can plan ahead!

Survival

Forget feeding! Just keep those hawks away from your birds and fledge as many as you can. If all birds have been taken by hawks it’s game over! Fast and frantic fun, you can rack up huge amounts of points!

HI, I don´t was watch this section on the forum, I post the last game was I maded for iPhone, Fantasy Brciks an inusual brick breack game.

Fantasy Bricks, the story is about you can save your friend from the great 7 big crazy bosses of the 7 worlds.

TechS Specs:

In the version 2.0, is actual on App Store, you have:

2 modes of play, quick(hard) or slow(easy)

tons of cool graphics (I think)

about 25 mini songs, very funny

Yes, it is JUST PONG, and it looks like any other pong game out there, but this pong game has better features and plays better than the original or most pong games out there.

Did you know that the original pong has been around since 1972. The game is still fun and addictive, and that's why consumers love the game of pong, not to mention the simplicity of the game.

Pong is all about angles, so that's what I improved. The paddles are using a convex formula. The problem with most of the clones is that the ball just bounces in the opposite direction, like a laser reflecting off of a mirror. With convex paddles you have more control of the ball so it's a lot more challenging.

Next I had to make the AI good, to keep you coming back for more. There is an easy and hard mode. Hard mode is very challenging, but not so much where you get frustrated.

You will be presented with a blank canvas that will slowly be filled with missing jigsaw pieces.
This means that the image will be revealed to you bit by bit and your aim is to try and guess the picture in the puzzle as fast as you can.
The faster you do it, the higher your score will be. However, if you take too long you can lose points. You will lose even more points if your animal does not match.

As you progress through the levels you will have less time in which to identify the animals, making the game more challenging.

The puzzle pieces will be revealed to you in no particular order, therefore no 2 games played will be the same.
There are hundreds of photos which will be selected at random from the picture gallery, so enjoy a great selection of high quality images.

Game is very educational too, it is a fun and easy way to keep your kids entertained while learning at the same time.
Game offers an 'Online Scoreboard' where you can record your name and progress for all to share.

Our First Game: Rock Crush!

Rock Crush - the first genuine retro ZX81 game in the App Store!!

There weren't that many high res games made on the ZX81 - almost all games were character set based low res games - albeit some of them ingenious..

Rock Crush is an iOS rewrite but great pains have been taken by the original author to go back to the original graphics and ensure they are pixel perfect on the iPad.

Inspired by an Atari game called Damonds by Jim Hunt (1983), Rock Crush was an original ZX81 high res game.

*Only recently did I see Diamonds in action in real life on You Tube as I had never actually played it - it turns out the gameplay is totally different.. but I was working from an advert in a computer magazine!

I already rewrote the game for the PC platform in 2001, so that version graphics are included in a second version of the game included.

Yet another, third version, is re-imagined with 2011 style graphics..

Updates are planned as well as a future iPhone version!

Rock Crush was originally written by Steven McDonald, back in 1985 for the 16K ZX81 computer.

Those old enough to remember will recall the machine had a very Low Resolution black and white graphics display and had no sound.

Rock Crush used a special Z80 HIRES graphics routine that allowed a quality of display not normally possible!

In essence, ZX Spectrum screen quality, without any additional hardware!

The original game was written in Z80 machine code and ran fast on that machine!

This careful rewrite by the original author, features a ZX81 Emulation mode with the original graphics! ZX81's didn't normally have "hires" graphics modes except when special display routines were used..

Even then the effect was only "pseudo hires" - in short you didn't have access to the full 256 pixel patterns available per byte - only a limited subset. Most users weren't aware of this but it does explain the odd compromised pixel out of place in the ZX81 graphics, if you look close. It was a nice illusion!!!

We added some sound to this version and also added an imagined ZX colour mode with an extra 10 levels.

This is how I like to think my game would have turned out back in 1985, had the ZX featured decent sound and colour! (Been a Commodore 64 clone in other words!).

I already rewrote the game for the PC in 2001 - so this is where the 2001 ZX colour Mode came from. I decided to keep it and make it available here as well as I like the updated colour graphics and extra 10 levels for one thing!

Guide your man "Dan" around 20 screens collecting the diamonds and avoiding the rocks! Who can get the highest score??

Try it - And let us know If you get the highest possible score of 99999!

This is more a puzzle than an arcade action game but you can't stand still under a rock!

Try and solve all 10 original and 10 enhanced levels..

A Note On The New Scoring System:

I was never happy with the original scoring system, so rewrote it in 2001 and kept in for this rewrite.

You score 150 points per Diamond (16 Diamonds per sheet).

You score an additional 250 points for every sheet completed.

You score 1 point for each piece of Earth that is mined.

You score 2 points for jumping out of the way of a rock - danger points!!!

If score goes over 99999, it stays at 99999!

If your score goes below 0, it stays at 0!

You lose 4000 points for every life lost, except if you are on your last life, your score is 99999 and you blew yourself up!

A Note on the Game Controls:

Use the arrows built into the walls - its easiest to play holding the iPad in your hand. If you get trapped - click on your man to blow yourself up!!!

The iCade control device is supported!

Coming in the next update:

High score timings for each level - try and beat the time record per level! Plus many more things to come! Level packs etc.

Not so with Snake Revolutions. It speeds along and will give you all that Snake retro goodness you used to love and spin it around. Literally! Capture and absorve Geoms (geometric forms with specific movement) by fully encircling them with your finger's drawing. The number and speed of Geoms increases with each passing level increasing the difficulty of the task. You must avoid red rectangles in the grid, but be aware!, your finger makes pressure on the grid deforming it. If your finger touches a Geom, you lose a live, but you can get more lives absorving letters and forming the "extra" word.
Circling more than one Geom multiplies your score. On higher levels, a Geom with a double laser blade makes your drawing more difficult! But nothing is impossible, you can absorve bombs and drop them to destroy all Geoms in a level!
