Whatever happened to the CogWorks game? I just found it on YouTube - it looks fantastic!

I posted the source on the German forum somewhere. The game looks quite nice, but it's far from being complete.
Hm... I'd love to finish it but I don't have any time for that.

Is it public domain (ie. if someone else wants to work on it can they?)
