15th of December free to everyone, you can play now if you donate to his cause, which I just did, all his past games brought me great joy, and Gryzor is ace on the music. It is really superb to see the retro scene going on on Spain, maybe I should move there ;) Spanish can´t be that difficult language to learn já que usam uns acentos muito loucos como os do Português. :p

#2
Just beat it and saved daughter ...skipped 2 levels just in case of finding new stuff, but still got a score of 29/50 on the secrets...bunf
Not as hardcore as Maldita Castilla, yet, worth soo much for the gfx and music and design alone. :good:
edit: 39/50 now...

Loved Rygar! So I'd say I'll like this too! :)
Comp:
Speccy-48k, Speccy-128k, Amigas, PCs

Just I tested , really really cool, not is complex, not super easy but very very fun , the music is amazing.. really really good, the graphics you know like 80, very very worked product... I like a lot...

Remind me  a bit to ghost and goblins with another "face" but is really fun, i played for a while and I like a lot, more then Maldita Castilla, but I think this game had less duration, about 45 min said in the web.

If you use Linux runs fine in Wine, the only problem I get is the Pad and Joystick don't runs, but I think my Joysticks are Chineese and sometime don't works with the O.S,

Download and play it , really nice!!!

It is really quite polished and I enjoy the simplicity of the game and its general interface. Super music, specially the mountain entrance level. I also dig the art by Marek Barej.
I´m very much skilled in this type of game and I find this one a lot easier than Maldita Castilla.

Heck, I can´t get my secret score above 47/100 (including the special bow level), I have seen a preview image before with a waterfall level but can´t find it in game no matter what I try. If it made in to the final version, it must be very well hidden I just ran out of possibilities and no clue whatsoever.

As for game comparison, I think it is quite similar to Alasteir Jonh Jack´s ARVOESINE, which is also superb and carry a more msx look.
Arvoesine is a bit hard to find nowadays, if anyone is interested, check here:

This is greatly recommended!

But while we are talking about Locomalito and Gryzor, you may also want to check Gryzor´s tutorial on how to make punch sounds for that double dragon clone everyone is secretly developing...;)

That guy is just awesome.

Jajaj "que cachondeo" have Gryzor78, I never see in video. Is interesting the work he did with the home instruments... really interesting...

I think if you only done music and SFX is interesting but for do all this work in home for a game (if is complex and you need a lot of time) I don't want imagine how much time you need for do all the SFX.

Nice and cool Video Erico.  :good:

Yep, probably a loooot of work, pretty similar to working sound in movies where you have to recreate fx band for steps, doors, etc.
But none the less, it is a very FUN work! Here I do similar but very amateurish, add some voice fx and the likes :D :D

Either way, I have never seen Gryzor before, he looks like a very funny guy to hang about.
I hope if I ever come to Spain I get a chance to check that arcade house locomalito is involved with.
Heck, I wish I could open an arcade bar here myself, but BR people are not that much into things that strive away from caipirinha, beach, girls in bikini and picanha barbecue, hehe. :S

mentalthink

Yes I only show Gryzor and Locomalito in 2 photos in Retro-Madrid showing the arcade of Maldita Castilla...
In a round table I ear Gryzor speack and is a guys very funny... really he is mathematical.

I like to ear you SFX, for voices I use a web (i don't remind the name) I think I put in the forum, is a web you write a text and then speach in very very natural voice, nothing of syntetics sounds, you ear this program and is diffult difference between a real Woman or men and the computer...

I found this ... but not is too much good.

JAJAJ wah wah wah...  =D =D

How I comment I don't remind the name of the soft, but I use for the make a couple of voices and runs very very good...

Yeep I found it...

Test the text by default... and if you want change the languaje and put something ...  you can choose between some guys and girls.

erico

Hmmm, pretty good, but I have another quite realistic one here, give a go ;)

=D =D Remind me a lot , in the Workbench 1..3 of Amiga 500 some application doing this, exactly the same...  :-*

erico

Computer voice sure went a great jump from those days.
Say Mental, did you finish Curse of Issyos already?

mentalthink

Yep I remind in ZX Spectrum a device with "voice" , but what is the utility  :D

No I don't play too much, I arrived to the third stage, when the statue runs behind you, I think in Maldita Castilla some stage was similar, ins't?¿...

Really I don't play too much to games, the only game I use "more" is grid autosports, because runs in Linux and is really good , more difficult than Grid1 and Grid2, the cars are different, more like simulation than arcade...

Sure I play more to Curse os Issyos , the problem is when you die turn again from the start, and make too much years I did this  :D :D , for disconnect a bit is really good.
