My books have been available for a while now, and with Christmas coming, I thought it might be the right time to start making them freely available - the information will need to be updated a fair bit when V12 comes out too.
So, I'll making the PDF version of the books available over time, starting with my Cookbook IV
Thank you very much, a very kind offering and greatly appreciated ;-)
That is truly a Santa Tatoad thing!
I got both GLB books one or two years ago and they are greatly useful till this day. :good:
Thanks a lot, I bought a couple of your books but the backup on the server in the sell web, doens't works for a log time ago.
Really much apreciated. :booze:
No problem - more coming soon!
:nw: :nw: Thanks a lot.
Cookbook 1
Thank you MrTAToad!!! :good: :booze:
Next one : Cookbook 2
Very cool. Thanks a lot. :)
Cookbook 3
DDGui Reference Guide - not quite as up-to-date as it should be, but it's not too bad :)
GLBasic User Guide (fairly out of date now)
Last, but not least, its the Programmers Reference Manual.
Cliff3D was very useful in sorting some of the stuff for this, and well as the person (forgotten who it was now  ) who designed a cover for publishing.
And thats all the books!
Thanks to all the people who have brought a copy (or two) over the years!
It is fine Mr. Tatoad, they are excellent material way worth going into.
I bought 2 of them, and I´m really glad I did, helped me way more than you could imagine.
It´s me that have to thank you for putting the time and effort into it, you sure have a way to go on books, please keep up! :good: <3 :enc:
Thanks for that!
Very generous of you MrT. I think I got a couple of your books early on, but can't remember which ones now. One had a 3D racing game track int it IIRC. The other might have been the reference guide. Or did I buy those on webOS? Dunno - can't remember now. Anyway, it's good of you to release them into the wild for free. :)
Thank you MrT! I especially like the reference guide, its better then the GLB help file IMHO. Also nice to look over your routines from the other books too. :good:
Glad you all like them!
Hey thanks a lot for this cool Present.
Btw is where a way to get the media from ?
Any media isn't available unfortunately - the only real choice would be to use some GLBasic stuff.
Ok no Problem :good:
It should keep you busy for a while :)
I've decided to revise and re-publish the Reference Manual one more time, with the addition of the new commands and various updates.
That is great Mr.T!
Thanks!
The book should be available for the Kindle at around $5/£4/E4.50 on the Amazon Store in a few days.
Also available in the archaic medium known as a "book" for the princely price of $71.00/£55/E64
I hope to get it available at the Lulu digital store soon (as will be available in print from them once I've bought a copy).
£55!? :O :x  :D
Its why I want to get the eBook up and running... :)
The Kindle version is now available here : https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01JZFEB6O
A fair bit has changed between this and the previous version : webOS has been removed and HTML and Raspberry Pi information has been added, along with the few new commands.
Very good!
Will pick this up soon :)
Thanks for that!
Got to get the Lulu eBook thing up and running some time - at the moment, I'm still trying to work out a title that it will accept...
The eBook should now be available at all good eBook Stores at around £4
The paper version needs updating and whatnot first, so if you are looking for a doorstop, you'll have to wait a bit longer!
The hardback test print from Lulu arrived yesterday, and is now availble for those with money to burn.
Also available in eBook form...
Just waiting for the Amazon book version to arrive now, but that will be next month!
