I ordered a Strato HiDrive account and will set up a Git repository. So we can use Git to act together. But, I failed to clone it. Maybe my work-configuration messes with the private account... I'll have to see.

Oh nice, hopefully you get it running.
Let us know :)

There is a way to link it static.
No clue how, maybe we can just use the source?
Sure, why not use it as default :)

SoLoud C-API:

Quote
Using the "C" API
The glue file soloud_c.cpp can be found under the "src/c_api" directory.

You can either link to the generated DLL, which exposes the "C" API, or you can include SoLoud C++ sources (or static library) to your project along with the soloud_c.cpp file.

In your C sources, include soloud_c.h header file.

Ok, SoLoud is easy to wrapp into GLbasic.
You need the Headers (#include "soloud_c.h") + src-folder an the DLL.
Simple C syntax, i'm done with the start.

Upload the project later today.

I'll try to implement "SoLoud" today.
Looks very easy to work with...

Still hard to master this giant software.

Inline / 3rd party / Create sound with OpenAL
« on: 2021-Sep-22 »
Hey,

this is a small example on how to create sounds with OpenAL.
Found this example here:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/44157238/can-i-produce-a-synthetic-sound-using-openal

Maybe you need the headerfiles and install it (extract in GLBasic_SDK-Folder and you are good to go):

LOCAL oder GLOBAL
Code: (glbasic) [Select]
LOCAL uni[]
REDIM uni[35][35][35]

So sollte es gehen.

Try to implement/use OpenAL.
I can give it a try later today, if you still need this.

You have to look if its 32bit or 64bit versions of the VST/VSTi.
If you have a 64bit DAW you can normaly use both.

Is this the one you use Schranz0r?

No, i use Reason from Reason Studios (former Propellerhead).
But Fruityloops is also a nice place to start with. (Tons of tutorials!)

Take a look at LMMS.
Its free and like Fruity Loops.

https://lmms.io/

I think it's a good way to start, and there is a 8-bit Synth in it :P
