I have try running "deviceshell.bat" (after installing novaterm/pdk-device-install) and putty says "network error: connection refused"

Perhaps something has changed on webos 3.0.5?

Crivens

I'll have to test mine later. It def worked on Pre2 and I'm sure my TP worked too on 3.05

Kitty Hello

You must install the dropbear on the device and enable the developer mode. It's all in the tools/novacom I think.

Crivens

Mine is fine. Have you definitely run pdk-device-install.bat (it's in /tool/bin/novaterm)?

Then once on do this command:-
ln -s /media/cryptofs/apps/usr/palm/applications apps

Then can use:-
cd apps
cd *snake* (to get into my snake game)
./glb* (runs your app without having to type the whole damn filename)

Strange... As I said mine is fine... Maybe the ICS build you have is stepping on it's toes? Doubt it but never know...

No, I was checking it on the Pre2, that has not anything, virgin like a.... virgin :D

MrTAToad

My old Pre 2 stopped working for some strange reason...  Just wasn't being recognised by Windows 7.

Never did work out why, although its possible it could be a firewall issue...
