would anyone mind me putting ad sense ads at the bottom of this forum? I mean, it might be a few extra free dollars for GLBasic, no?

Yes, would be fine - just dont go the route that DBPro and put in adverts after every 5th topic!
I don't see it being a problem, as long as they aren't too intrusive. Anything that helps prolong the life of GLBasic and the forum is a good thing :)

I don't see a problem with this, just don't do what TGC did and a create a browser toolbar that they bother you with installing each time you visit their website.

If the adsense doesnt require extra http calls, and comes directly through glbasic.com refer, i think it would be ok.
If the ads force IE8 content advisor to hit extra password requirements, i would say its too intrusive, and would recommend not using such services.

I agree with that too, sometimes I wonder if it is faster to re-ask something other than trying to go through the search function, If Ads could help that it's a sure go.
