One of my fave games - did you know I was working on a remake. Sady the artist got bored, leaving me with most of the game done.

I came. I saw. I played.

That looks amazing!

Great GFX.Is it a playable state?

It's a legend game on c64. Also on some Platforms, the mission was totally impossible. But in the early days I'm did not know what you should do with the puzzles, so I'm mostly just wanded and explore rooms, but it's was also fun for its self.

There is a official remake of this game as well.

Yeah, I have the PS2 version of IM. I must admit, I do have a soft spot for the MasterSystem version though.

Which version of IM is impossible? I've completed the PS2, C64, MS and CPC versions without problem.

I absolutely detested IM 2048 though. Awful.

Im did not remember when im wrote it, but found out its was the NTSC version of Atari 7800, that is incompletable, due a bug. Some of the puzzles was hidden behind the computer terminals, which cannot been searched..... oops.

In a another world, its could been fun to do a creppy remake using original graphics something this style:

PS. Ian, can you scale pictures abit down to avoid sidescroll on the forum (if you have posted it using dropbox or such)? Its did look very cool and gray.

LOL. That parody was excellent :)

I host the images on my own site and I need them to remain at that size on my site. Reducing the images would degrade their quality. I thought the forum software would scale them down (make a thumbnail until clicked), but obviously not.

As for the Atari version - D'oh!!! LOL

I liked Mission Impossible back in the day, I remember being very impressed with the, now classic ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxmtE5ylifU ), sampled speech.

Here a nice new ZX Spectrum game and quite an interesting blog post on how it came about... Aquanoids

Jeje Aquanoids just appears the last Week I think in Sunday... I comment to the autor , I think he say something or at least he will be happy looking his game here, out of the Spanish retro-Computing.

erico

Read about Aquanoids a little ago...Damn! Those spanish guys really can keep the plate spinning... :good: (go play jar jar ninja RIGHT NOW!)
No wonder they produced so much back in the days.

I really love to see how people can keep machines going. On ZX, there has been a lot of great russian activities these past years too!

MrPlow

Ian, game looks super!

You should definitely try to finish or release an alpha :)

My Impossible Mission remake is now history - I no longer code with BMax and don't plan to port the game to GLB. I just don't have the time anymore.

Ian I see the images and I like a lot, I remind when I played in my Amstrad CPC, I like the game but I think was very long to finish, and a bit difficult. I see the images and them are very good looking. Think about do the Remake a similar game.

Jeje yes Erico , and I think the guy did Aquanoid don't know programming (I'm not sure, is very good doing music) the game is done with the "churrera" I read a lot of people did games and not have skills about programming. About Ninja Jar I played and is very very good is something like Alex kid mixed with another games...(they comment)

If you want play it, in my opinion one of the best of the past year, take a look to "Los Amores de Brunilda" , "Castlevania" is awesome too

I just confirmed on Skype today one of my small Speccy titles is going to be on a REAL ZX Spectrum C-15 tape with full inlays etc.

A bit of fun, but looking forward to it all the same! :)
