grafx is quite good, I run it on caanoo it works great.
pixels on the go...
pixels before sleeping...etc

but still no animation support.
it has layers, so it is not impossible to do animation, but no way of testing the speed/tempos you will require.

in grafx2 - how can I draw "transparent" pixels? Can you give a small tutorial?

I haven't used that myself yet, but I think this would work.

Layers transparency
Left click

Selects the transparent color as background pen color.
Right click

The current Background color becomes the color considered transparent for the layers.

aseperite (1st post in topic) won my heart!
It does clean palette image manipulation, has an indexed colour for transparency, shows a checkerboard for transparent areas and can zoom/pan with the mouse wheel/middle mouse button.

And using Amiga Emulator?¿, AmigaUE I think It´s called... this have to work...
