Anywhere else I can get the HELP files? my computer won't open them

Every time I press F1 my computer exits out of GLbasic
It does this with all help files
can I download them in a TXT or PDF anywhere?
I'm a newbie and I really need the tutorials in the help files

It shouldn't exit - there are problems with the help file system, but it should still be available on pressing F1. Are you sure GLBasic in installed properly?

However, if you can't view it look in the same folder as your GLBasic .EXE for a file called GLBasic_e.chm. Double click on that to view the helpfiles. If you haven't got that, then I suggest re-downloading and re-installing GLB.

Install a chm reader or something. On Vista you might be missing this. Google for it, or try WindowsUpdate. It should offer you one.
