I am not sure Erico, I think it's a bit of both, I still to this day do a little Z80 on a CPC emulator for fun but I think other programmers enjoy the low BIOS only level hardware access that these early systems provide. It's tough but rewarding if your interest is sparked.
Cheers,

Ian.

I'd love to go back to Z80 on CPC. I have too many ideas and too little time as it is. :(
I came. I saw. I played.

Z80 hey? I just dusted off a stored microprofessor z80 that I used in college and have been thinking about getting back in to it.

If you don't know about it already Ian, I heartily recommend WinApe CPC Emulator ( http://www.winape.net/features.jsp ) It's almost a complete CPC dev environment, with built in Z80 Assembler (Maxam), disassembler, debugger, memory dump, graphic dump etc. a true work of art IMHO.
Cheers,

Ian.

Actually there's a pretty elaborate Basic on the Android Market at the moment

From what i read you can make your games into an apk, not sure how.
But it looks like it has a lot of features

Minotirs BASIC looks like it's better suited for making games,
but no idea how fast either of these to languages run on the actual devices themselves.
