I have just discovered glbasic.
I would like to test it but every time I run a program, the window opens and closes itself at once.
I'm runing W2K sp4 / Glbasic demo version 2.50519

oh dear. Try an internet update first. Then update your gfx-card driver from the website of ATI/NVIDIA.
Make sure one of the demo programs works. (GLBasic/Projects/Samples/...)
If it doesn't help, come back again.
