Comments/Discussion for Showroom entries?

Wondering if it would be possible to add the ability to comment to Showroom entries.
Would be a good way for people to discuss the individual downloads themselves.

You could create a new thread on the forum and post the link in the description of your item?

It will be spammed without end yes. This forum gets about 30 spam accounts registered every day. I'm the one removing them and blacklisting them. Have a look at the text-row on the bottom of each page in the forum. This shows how many attempts was made that got blocked before the blacklist kicks in.

I completely understand about the Spam accounts,
I had a dormant test forum running on my website, that I had left for about 6 months,
when I went back to check on it, there was close to 300 spam posts.
The forum is not linked anywhere at all.

What about making sure a Captcha (preferably the mathematical ones) are used ?

Captcha is solved by human spam-banks or by pure chance. They get past the registration captcha here without much problems. The 30 I talked about earlier are successfully registered users that has passed the captcha already. Limiting the posting capabilities to only the ones with 50+ posts on the forum is a possibility I guess.
