Hi There,

I just updated my XCode sdk to version 3.2 which have support to new Apple devices named iPad.
As devices seems to share same OS that iPhone and iPod Touch, i suppose that could be easy give support to this new device.
I wonder if there is any planning for supporting that device? (Maybe only add a new resolution to 1024 x 768?).

Thanks for your fast reply.

I see that not only me wants one allready! hehehe.

It's an interesting approach, between iPhone and Mac; and an interesting new market for developers!

Looking at the spec on apple.com, current apps will run on it in original
ipod touch size or you can expand to full screen.
There's a microphone built in but it's a great shame they don't have
a camera built in, would be great for skype/video chat, maybe next version.

@trucidare: Yep, i will buy the wifi version too (after all i don't need 3G on iPad). It's nice to see more people that want one!
@okee: You know how Apple works; first they sells a iPad without camera and usb; a year after they will sell a new iPad named anything like iPad 2G with camera and usb support (and probably a better processor).
As you know, this kind of play is usual on big companies (Nintendo will sale a new ds on march named DSiXL).

By the way, we can sell same games that on iPhone but specifically adapted to iPad (bigger resolution), and we can named 'insert game here' HD.

Kitty Hello

Did I get this right?
3G = mobile phone sim card
Wifi = with Wifi connection

There's an iPad that has no Wifi, then??

fjsantosb

@trucidare: Agree, i prefer battery power, than a camera or usb (i never used on pc or other mobile devices)

@Kitty Hello: All iPad, as i have understood, has wifi connection. 3G has 3G but wifi connection too.
