http://www.idroidproject.org

QuoteDroid is still in Alpha Software Stage. It is not yet meant to replace iOS, but that will be the long term goal. Here are some issues that you should take note of:

Camera does not work, so don't think about trying the Camera App. Opening the Camera App may hang iDroid requiring a Hard Reset. Hard Resets can mess up iOS too!!!
Graphics Acceleration Drivers do not work (no 3D, video or YouTube playback).

Power Management is still in development, so the iDroid will run hot and be drained of a full battery in around 2 hours.

Due to lack of graphics driver and power management/clock gating, iDroid will be a bit slower than native or real Android Devices.

WiFi Drivers work but can be buggy at times (You have to turn on/off WiFi until you connect).

iDroid Project does not have permission from Google to include Google Apps and Android Market. Although you can install it if you have your own native Android Device, Google's servers will block you from logging-in properly with your Google Account, so Android Market will not work.

Internet access over the cellular network is not implemented at present, we are working on this.

erico

mentalthink

Hola erico, no he entido demasiado,

Hi Erico, I not understand too much what you say me, I think is better, speak english if you desire, than Brazil lenguaje, (excuseme I don´t stay sure if you are from Brazil or Portugal), so I don´t have any idea of this lenguaje, and I think the most part os spaninsh speakers, are equal than me.

Well the fact to use the emulator, it´s only for try, I don´t have a android device, and want try glbasic, well if the emulator runs quickly I think you can think, buy a most or minus cheaper phone. I will buy a phone or a tablet, but only how I say is curiosity.

Kinds Regards,
Iván J.

Portuguese from Brazil, It´s actually quite close to Spanish if you stick to simple grammar and vocabulary, slangs and short cuts off!
What I meant is what is the purpose of having an i-thing emulating android?
