Merry Christmas :)
http://blog.spacefractal.com/music/commodore-64-sid-music/ - here is most of my tunes (include the xmas tune) in mp3. Im hope you got some nice gifts.
Jeje I listen a few sounds and like me... Sounds very very (or equal) then the real Sid of C64, the first sound I like a lot, very good feeling, really happy music.
If you are interested in some real, with arduino you can emulate the SID chip and do some audio machine, not too much complex do a sequencer...
Perhaps good idea is put all sounds in SoundCloud, you can get a lot of feedback over the tracks.
The app im used was SidTracker 64 for iPad, which is a tracker to create real sid files. which can export to sid and prg files. So actuelly they can been used in a real C64 game. The prg file even works in a C64 emulator.
There is two sid chips howover, but the sidtracker is only emulator the newer 8580 chip. There is a quite big different on the filter when played back on the older 6581 chip. When im disable it, then they play pretty much even on both chips. In this xmas song, im used quite heavy the filter on the bass, but its does sound a little bit bad on 6581. But since this was just for fun, then the tune should playback on a 8580.
I hope everyone's had a good Christmas by now. :good: :booze: :puke:
