im have seen that, mightbeen time to get our unfinished moon patrol game finished, but in gb style colors, since the game its self was allready in b&w. Could been fun to see that game finished and used in that combo instead.

Thought about that just yesterday when I got the compo email....

I tried to code it too on the last minute last time but it wasn´t going to be possible.
It´s tempting.

The game was near complete, but could retry it again with this combo to finish it, using game boy resolution, which require double site of the assets, but keep the gameplay as its was.

I'd we have time, some of the ufomcan use galaxian like attack, due more air space.

But lucky we was allready used game boy style.

I´m going to give a try on the moon patrol idea but I prefer to do it solo. I wanna try it "one head, many hats". :-[
Current design has changed a lot since last compo and while possible not to finish in time, I love the idea and can use the compo as a boost to make it.
I have faith the play-ability (while difficult to pull) will be a seller. :good:

I will sign in and put up some thread.

I'm really sorry about the Moon Patrol game - I just didn't have the time last time. I still haven't. Doing my own games in my own time where there is no limit is nigh-on impossible right now. So, needless to say, despite having a wealth of ideas, I won't be entering this Jam in any capacity.

No worries. I have always thought about making a moon patrol, this jam seems to be the chance to kick it up.
I probably won´t have much time either, but I hope to have something up for the kicks.

I hope you guys can finish the Moon Patrol game.  8)

Right now I am wondering if I should go for the 3D platformer type of game. As I'm not sure about it so I made a test video. Would it be okay or shall I start fresh with 2D pixel?  :-[

That's really just a technically test, erico, although poor (runtime) textures were used. So you think it passed the rules for the jam?

I'm not sure what it's about as it is really just a vertical mapped maze. Perhaps something like Hero as it's very cavernous and undergroundy? For another idea, maybe a runner, where it's more simplified in controls so that the player moves long automatically but the player selected which way to go.
