I'm getting this at the top of the showroom page:

Warning: strtotime() [function.strtotime]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/Berlin' for 'CET/1.0/no DST' instead in /var/kunden/webs/glbasicabc/glbasic/main.php on line 30

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/kunden/webs/glbasicabc/glbasic/main.php:30) in /var/kunden/webs/glbasicabc/glbasic/main.php on line 31

Deprecated: Function split() is deprecated in /var/kunden/webs/glbasicabc/glbasic/main.php on line 237

Also get this on tring to access any of the files there:

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 33 is not allowed to access /tmp owned by uid 0 in /var/kunden/webs/glbasicabc/glbasic/showroom.php on line 9

This is the second game from my ongoing attempt at rewriting and updating my old Amiga offerings. For the moment this is PC only and game play should be easy enough to pick up with the exception that a click of the right mouse button will rotate a piece once you have 'lifted' it.

Download (4.3 MB) from Google docs:

History of the game, instructions and more info etc. From my website:

Quote...unless the counter can do 31536000 seconds... :nana:

Should that not be 31622400 seconds? (2012 is a leap year)

Another option is the lupo pen suite.

No installation required - all programs portable versions and run from a USB stick.

Updated to 10.205 and this fixed the down key problem but i still could not compile to Android (error parsing to SDK).

Un-installed GLB and re-installed with 10.202 from download page on website, this took me back 10.202 with the down arrow problem again but compiling to android.

Used manual web-internet update from GLB menu which took me to 10.205 again only this time everything appears to work OK now.

Job's a good-un as far as I can see.  =D

Anyone else having problems compiling to android since the 10.191 update?

It's taught me how much I use the down key when I'm editing!

Copying EditorE.exe  from the backup zip file and overwriting the one in the install folder has given me a temporary fix for the time being.

I had a similar problem last week and posted it at this link:

http://www.glbasic.com/forum/index.php?topic=7385.msg60832#msg60832

Minion solved my problem by suggesting I tried uninstalling and reinstalling GLB. Don't ask me why - but it worked.

May not be the problem in your case but worth a go.

Best one I've seen is:

"Dear Santa, please make Justin Bieber go away".

What about an online worldwide copyright for $20 registration and $10 a year to renew?

At least you would give you proof enough to send a 'cease-and-desist-or-else' threat to any infringer.

I thought with all the free trials and the low cost of paid android and iPod games that piracy would not be on the same scale as the likes of the Amiga etc. So I thought I'd have a look on Google to see how prevalent it was.

I searched for "+hacked +android + games" and got the result" "About 19,400,000 results (0.12 seconds)"

So I tried the same with +hacked +iPad + games and the result:  "About 6,400,000 results (0.30 seconds)"

6 and a half MILLION results for the iPad!  What chance does anyone have when there are videos on YouTube titled "Android Game Hacks by request"

What about free versions of your game with in-game purchases? Or have they hacked that as well?

If you are looking for a visual language you could try the demos from the clickteam's range of products and see if any of them suits your purpose.

Minion, award yourself a gold star and move to the top of the class. uninstalling and reinstalling GLB worked!!! =D

I still don't know why though, but who cares! Perhaps it would be a good idea to fix this in a future GLB update.

I also hope this post might help other users who find themselves in a similar predicament.

Thanks Minion & MrTAToad for your help.   :good:
