I have always fancied doing a verion of the Jeff Crammond classic,It's prob about 70% complete,It's ,my first foray into 3d and seems to be going ok.

I love The Sentinel; it's a really absorbing game, that everybodyy needs to play at some point.

Anyway, congrats on getting a new version up and running.

Big fan of The Sentinel, full of admiration for Geoff Crammond too, he was a coding god on the early 8/16 bit micros.

That was in interesting interview,well worth a read.
I played Revs,Stunt car racer and Sentinel to death at the time and totally loved them.

The game seens to look pretty nice. The controlling is quite unplayable throught, but that due the mouse state and graphics size checking is not doing correctly.

Howover its not that kind of bugs im will look on with the game source (im will not release it of course), but mere looking into the strange string issue. Here im take a look tomorrow or sunday.

im for about 10 years ago attemted a Stunts game in Dark Basic, but im did newer finsish it, the editor was quite there, but newer do something with the car its self.

There was an awesome looking WIP of Stunt Racer doing the rounds years ago that never fully arrived. I played the WIP demo and it really was great.

Here's a YT vid, but I remember seeing a better one, but this is still awesome.

And another "remake" that never arrived AFAIK
